The Beginning

Growing up I had absolutely no sense of identity. You spend your youth discovering who you are — not the person your friends like, not the kid your parents expect you to be, but all the little things that add up to who you are and who you want to be. It happens slowly, through trial and error and quite a few growing pains.

I didn't find it until my early thirties. But now I know myself. I know what lights me up, what gives me purpose and passion, and most importantly — what I am supposed to do with it all.

I am so happy and grateful to be here. I can honestly say that. There were many years that I couldn't.

The Darkness

I had this belief, from a very young age, that I was nothing. That somehow, somewhere, I had done something that made my life less valuable. I didn't know how that was possible. I just knew it was truth.

And the pain that came from living captive to that lie was unbearable.

I spent the majority of my life trying to destroy myself. It didn’t matter what happened to me — I deserved it. The darkness was my world and I couldn’t escape it.

I was so lost, so out of control, that I knew something had to change. When my daughter was 3, she almost lost me to suicide. And when that didn't work — after the anger and the bitterness passed — I realized I was supposed to do something with this. With my understanding of what it feels like to live a life so emotionally and mentally distraught that you want to end it all.

So I did the one thing I was most afraid to do.

I started talking about it. About the depression, the anxiety, the hard stuff that no one wants to know about. I talked about all of it. And that is where the healing truly began.

The Work

It was slow. And it was painful in a very different way.

I came to a point where I had to embrace every part of me if I would ever really be able to move on. It knocked the wind out of me. My diagnoses. What had taken over me when I didn't realize I had a choice. How could anyone possibly love something like me. How could they accept everything that came within a mind like mine.

I didn't want me.

But slowly — I stopped trying to ruin myself. I finally understood something. That I didn't need anyone's permission to live, to be loved, to be my own person. I was allowed all of those things simply because I existed. Just the same as anyone else. Not good, not bad.

Just me.

Being Seen

The inner me — all she ever wanted was to be seen. To be heard. To be validated. To know that she had a right to be there.

I didn't feel like I got that from those around me. Whether that was truth or not — the feeling was still there. And that deep-seated feeling of absolute worthlessness is what shaped my whole world.

If no one else was going to do it, then it was up to me to see me, hear me, validate me, and know that I have a right to be here.

That realization started me on this path. To understand the why behind mental health. The how. And what I could do to change it. As I was discovering this for myself, I became determined to share it — not because I had all the answers, but because I knew what it felt like to be without them.

The Mission

It dawned on me that on a planet of over 7 billion people, there was no way I was the only one who had ever felt like this.

I got through it. But that was just the start.

If I could only help one person — then maybe it was all worth it.

I am a firm believer that it is every individual's responsibility to turn around and help the next person once they find their own way to the top of the mountain. That is why I built Rooted Strength. Not from a textbook. Not from a certification alone. From 25 years of living in the dark, finding my way through it, and arriving on the other side holding something worth passing forward.

"Everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of fear. And now I'm living on that side."

The non-negotiable truths
this brand is built on

What We Believe

01

Emotions are not something to be managed or controlled. They are meant to be experienced, expressed, and lived fully.

02

Mental health is a full body experience. It is a conversation between your nervous system, your mind, your body, and your spirit.

03

People aren't cups. They do break. And then they keep on going — because they have to. They are forever changed. And that deserves to be said out loud.

04

Shame is a trauma response — not a character flaw. Grieving is sacred and cannot be hurried.

05

Although we cannot choose how we feel, we can choose what we do with what we feel. This is emotional intelligence — and it comes with a boatload of empathy for how hard that choice can feel.

06

Joy almost makes all the dark things worth going through. That almost is intentional. And it is the most honest thing I know.

What I Do

I am a certified Essential Emotions Coach. I guide women who are looking to heal but don't know how — helping them discover the power of essential oils and connecting to their emotions in a more meaningful and powerful way.

I help women move forward when they find themselves stuck. I create space to be honest without judgment. I don't fix you or offer problem solving. Working together, we identify what your body is trying to tell you, process what has been blocked, and find the essential oils that support your body's own healing process.

I am not here to fix you.
I am here to help you listen.

What I do is guide you in making the connection between your mind and body. Because when we do that — when we create that conversation between the nervous system, the emotions, the body, and the spirit — it becomes so much easier to identify what you are feeling, where it is stored, and what needs to happen to release it.

I use essential oils as one of the most powerful tools in that process. Oils and emotions are both chemically based — which is why they communicate so effectively. The more senses we involve, the faster the release.

I am just the guide providing the tools. The power has always been yours.

The Courses

Three courses built from the inside out — nervous system, emotions, and essential oils. Each one a tool for the climb.

The Community

A Skool community of women doing this work together. Because women gathering and healing each other is biological necessity — not optional socializing.

Her Philosophy

The most personal version of this work. Where the questions become a conversation — and you find your own answers with a guide beside you.

One Important Note

Stephanie is not a therapist or medical professional. She is a certified Essential Emotions Coach and a person with 25 years of lived experience. This distinction matters and is honored in all work.

Ready When You Are

Your life has value.
You are of infinite worth.
And you don't need anybody's permission.

Whether that is through the courses, the community, or working together one on one — there is a place for you here. You do not have to have it all figured out to begin. You just have to be willing to show up.

Your body is trying to tell you something. I can help you listen.
